Unfortunately I am just not able to land a job. 99% of the jobs require FLUENT French. I have an intermediary level so I have 0 chances.
I applied anyway of course, because they needed fluent English, but nobody got back to me.
I applied for a simple archiving job, which I’ve done before, and funny thing also involved bank files, they rejected me.
Supermarket jobs require fluent French, or don’t even mention the language because it’s a given…
So.. Basically for seven months I’ve been unemployed even though I have a total experience of 11 years on my CV.
I live in a rural area, nothing happens here, the only French classes I found are from a private school that charges 55 euro per hour, and so on… I’m really disappointed because aparently companies love to put this language barrier ALTHOUGH they NEED the so much hated English. I mean it’s 2020, they are in EU, they work with English speaking countries, yet if you are not French you get a kick in the ass.

Hi, we arrive late Sunday evening into Mérignac, and staying at Ibis La Bastide. Do we get the Lianes 1+ towards gare Saint Jean, and is there a point at which we can change for tram A? We’ll have the reverse journey early Wednesday morning. Many thanks.

Hello,

Just returned from a week in Bordeaux. Pity I didnt see your blog beforehand. The idea of learning a language through drama is appealing. On stage you can be or do what you want and there is no comeback. You cater for French to learn English or ex-pats to learn French. Do you cater for us holiday makers?

Me and two old ladies have been waiting for almost two hours for the bus that goes from Gare Saint Jean to the airport. No bus stopped at 12:40, 1:00 nor 1:20 am… as it is supposed to. Can you please send the bus tu pick us up and take us to the airport?

I’m a mad keen KIWI rugger head cavorting around Central Europe in my campervan & about to depart Zagreb ,Croatia and heading to Porto, Portugal. Got 5 weeks to hit Portugal.

Hello!

If you are coming from Bourg-sur-Gironde(?) I would suggest that you use the Park and Ride / Tram Station ‘La Buttinière – Lormont‘ (Tram A).

You have a direct line into town and takes approx. 15mins.

With four people, I suggest taking purchasing the Tickarte 10 trips. You need to validate this on each transport for each person in your group.
This would enable you all to have a return visit to the parking for all members.

Each ticket is available for 1hr.

I also suggest walking around town if your are up for it…

Hi, we will visit Bordeaux by car and will be coming from Bourg. Which car park is best and what type of ticket should we get (we are four adults)that can be used for carpark, tram and BAT? Thank you in advance
