Folk from Down Under

The front man from Aussie reggae folk trend setters ‘Carus & the True Believers’, will be dropping into Bordeaux this coming Wednesday to warm up your cockles.

Carus Thompson will be hooking back up with his French rhythm section of Mathieu & Christophe and will be playing shows through England, Germany, France & Switzerland throughout June, July & August.

Carus describes his music as being a mix of roots, folk, reggae, and funk, though in a recent interview pointed out he would like his music to be known mainly as “Australian.” Carus’ main musical influence comes from similar Australian musicians such as Paul Kelly.
