I have a wide knowledge of different kinds of Photography and I love to share what I know with others. So hereby I’d like to give you a program of the course that I have to offer.
Course time:
An average of 2 hours (depending on subject), one day in the week, 10 courses, given over a period of 12 weeks. (since I am still working as a photographer and might have to travel once or twice during two/three months.) There will be a homework assignment each week which will be a combination of actually making pictures and finding photographs/ photographers that interest you.
We will discuss the assignments together every week.

Course goals:
At the end of the 10 lessons you will have a basic knowledge of Photography and important photographers, you will have learned about analogue and digital photography and also a basic theory of Photography (history, important changes and groundbreaking technologies). Most important of all: you will have a beginning of a portfolio and a bunch of inspiration.
What will you need?:
A camera that has a manuel function and motivation.
Day 1:
Introduction to the basics of photography.
Subjects: Aperture, Shutter speed, ISO/ASA, and a historical introduction of Photography.
We will photograph in class to see the effect of different settings.
Day 2:
Creating images with lights.
Subjects: Daylight, Studio lights, flash, how to create an image.
We will practice in class with studio lights and measuring the light.
We will discuss various important Photographers and the homework assignment.
Day 3:
Composing an image.
Subjects: Composition and perspective.
We will talk about camera positioning, layering the image, and work with different elements.
We will discuss various important photographers and the homework assignment.
Day 4:
Coloring
Subjects: black and white and color photography.
We will discuss the different effect of color and black and white photography. How to control color photography?
We will discuss various important photographers and the homework assignment.
Day 5:
Back to the roots.
Subjects: Analogue photography, film, negatives, scanning.
We will concentrate on analogue photography, and negatives, to get a better understanding of photography and how it works and exists.
We will discuss various important photographers and the homework assignment.
Day 6:
Digital capture.
Subjects: Digital programs.
We will discuss the different programs working with imagery: Lightroom, Bridge and Photoshop. And
we will practice the digital capture, shooting tethered.
We will discuss various important photographers and the homework assignment.
Day 7:
Photoshop.
Subjects: Photoshop
We will go over the most important features of Photoshop, Skin retouching, light enhancements,
RGB/CMYK, and formats. And put them in practice.
We will discuss various important photographers and the homework assignment.
Day 8:
Making a series.
Subjects: Editing, lay-out and presentation of photographs.
We will talk about series, and how to keep a series of images interesting, how to make a sequence that keeps peoples attention.
We will discuss various important photographers and the homework assignment.
Day 9:
Making an interesting Portfolio.
Subjects: Creating a Portfolio, showing your abilities and professionalism.
We will look over some interesting Portfolio’s from other photographers. We will talk about how to select which pictures and how to present yourself.
We will discuss the homework assignment.
Day 10:
Wrap up.
We will go over the final assignment/homework. And finalize the Portfolio’s. We’ll look back at the highlight of the past classes and what we’ve learned, and hopefully leave inspired to continue after this course.
