Dätcha Mandala are a heavy blues group from Bordeaux that could easily slot into a rehearsal place with Black Sabbath or Cream.
Borrowing from 1970’s guitar driven rock, and fuzz music from today such as Wolfmother and Queens of the Stone Age, these bordelaise lads have already racked up more than 450 concerts across Europe and recorded their latest album entirely in good old analogue with
Clive Martin (Queen, Tom Yorke, The Cure, Midnight Oil, Skunk Anansie).
To coincide with the launch of their new album in November, the group is heading out on the road through France, Germany and not to mention the 22 dates they did in support of the
Hayseed Dixie group in the U.K back in April.
To kick start it all, the release party will be held on the 10th of November at Krakatoa (Mérignac, 33) and on November 29th at Point Ephémère in Paris.
Be sure to pack some cotton wool to use as ear plugs and break out the denim jackets… this is Bordeaux Fuzz.
