Do you have a story that you would like to tell?
The folks of Unidiverscity will be putting on a workshop that gives participants a chance to find, develop and share their stories with others through the elements of place, character and question. It is open to anyone interested in practicing their English in a creative way.
By the end of the workshop, you will:
• Understand the basic elements of storytelling
• Learn ways to create and share your own stories
• Complete writing exercises to develop in the future
• Practice English in a fun, imaginative way
Expectations
You are expected to respect other participants in the workshop and come prepared to write, share and create.

COST: Free for Unidiverscity members (become a member for 15€ per year).
€10 for 2 days for non-members.

About Unidiverscity
Unidiverscity is a Bordeaux-based nonprofit devoted to promoting intercultural awareness and social inclusion through dialogue and exchange. We provide innovative ways for people to share in and understand different cultures. Our motto is: “In sharing our stories, we enlarge ourselves and others.” We are unique in offering creative writing workshops in English to Bordeaux residents at affordable costs. We are 100% volunteer-run.
About the Instructor
Vanessa Merina holds Bachelor and Master degrees in Creative Writing. She is an American writer with over 9 years of experience in nonprofit & business communities, including writing, editing and marketing. She is co-founder of Unidiverscity, an intercultural exchange nonprofit in Bordeaux. In January, she moved from the US to France.
